Jet Blue Internal Flight

I thought this might help someone. We are booked with Aer Lingus indirect. Our return flight is MCO to JFK on Jet Blue all other flights on Aer Lingus planes. AL have been appalling with any attempts as customer service I will never use them again. Anyway. I was trying to book seats on the USA internal flight. Managed to download their App and find our trip and uploaded all our info but the app is super glitchy and would not let me book seats as the pages kept crashing. In have used their Chat function to book our seats. Was a two hour wait but they were great once I got someone. Just thought this might assist anyone struggling. Don’t bother trying to get AL to help you as they won’t do anything with this part of the flight.

I agree Al are shocking with communication. I emailed them in May , and again last week and still awaiting a reply. I don’t travel till November but would still like an answer to my query. Not impressed so far !

We did this is 2019, however I found AL great. We booked our seats via Jetblue themselves using the booking codes from the AL booking. Was very easy.
The reason I give AL extra credit is the excellent way that AL handled our internal return trip with United who wouldn't take our luggage in MCO without us paying a lot of money. AL refunded us within days.

I also had issues booking seats on the internal leg MCO to JFK with JetBlue. I travel in 4 weeks and tried online chat with Aer Lingus first but no dice. Just fobbed me off to contact JetBlue.

I contacted JetBlue on chat today as I couldn't log in with the Aer Lingus booking reference. Took about 50 mins. I provided them with my booking reference, email, travel dates and they asked me for my ticket numbers from my original booking email. She managed to track down my booking and got seats allocated - Result! So glad as I was worried we would be split up.

Hope it helps anyone else contacting them as may need ticket numbers ready.
