I will go against the flow on this thread and agree with you Loulou !
If I book accomodation I don’t care what price it is or what level of accommodation. I expect it to be spotlessly clean. I am surprised that so many people on here are prepared to accept anything less.
If it were a few crumbs in the toaster fair enough, I would have probably emptied it myself but it sounds filthy to me.

As for the hosts then if the paying customer says it’s dirty then it’s dirty, definitely never argue with the customer or make him/her feel foolish.

Don’t let it spoil your trip though and just enjoy yourselves.

I can’t imagine a toaster being so bad that I’d call a host. The crumbs are just bread slowly turning into carbon as it gets repeatedly heated. It wouldn’t even go mouldy!

Or am I minging? 😂
