Sunny Out ?

When it's sunny and warm outside do you feel obliged to sit out to take advantage ?

Really nice here today in Scotland but I needed to do my ironing and watch the cricket , dh watching the golf . Hung washing out and sat for 10 mins thereafter back into the cricket . Have tried watching on my ipad outside but too much glare to make it comfortable .

So, what do you do on a sunny day ? : ))

I’ve put our pool up in the garden so I am lay on my lounger with a book and keep dipping in to cool down. It’s like being on holiday.😁

I'm in the shade in the garden with a book. Making the most of my day off. Kids are usually swimming this afternoon but that's been cancelled so an unexpected free afternoon.

It's a bit cloudy here but it is warm! I'm quite grateful the sun isn't out because it means I'm out in the garden but not melting.

I always feel if I stay inside when its hot, I'm wasting the nice weather, so I know what you mean OP!

I'm sat in our lay-z-spa but just using it like a pool with warm water. Definitely too hot for ironing.

Well guys thanks for the replies... you've all convinced me to sit out in the shade tomorrow and read a book or maybe do a crossword or two !

Sunday was OK
Monday is too hot for even me and I'm a sun addict. I came indoors about 10:30. Even in the shade it's too hot I can't believe I'm saying this!

It does feel like being in Florida though and gives me a chance to wear my Disney holiday clothes which usually it's never warm enough for here
