We stayed here in 2019 and are going back next year. We loved it! Agree with comments on standard of rooms - really beautiful finishes on them. The lobby area and Barcelona lounge are stunning, as is the rooftop Dahlia Lounge! 🥰

Buses never a problem for us. Would recommend staying in Casitas as it’s got a really lovely pool area.

The live times on the app you mention. Do these actually track the buses, or are they based on a timetable?

It used to annoy me waiting for a bus at a resort, and the time would say 10 minutes away. 10 minutes would pass, no bus would turn up, then the time was suddenly 45 minutes away.

The Disney busses don't have a timetable you can look up. They run on a loop all day.
The times in the app and screen at the bus stops are based on where the bus currently is.

not needed uber so far. at park opening buses have been standing room only and about 15 mins apart. towards lunch that moves to 25 mins apart (we missed one and couldnt be bothered running from stop 2 to stop 1). after hours we have been late out and waited 30 mins, the traffic controller redirected a port orleans bus to stop for us, we were the only people at that wing of gates.

we have been around to a few other resorts now and we have been quite impressed with CSR. The pool area is nice and clean. No problems with towels, Food area close by with a drinks station. With the 3 bridges it was a cinch getting from room block (casitas 5) to pool or main building. Buses was a non issue, they were frequent and we only had to stand a couple of times (coming back). at busy times (rope drop and after fireworks) there were larger coaches laid on, not just the usual disney bus. Have a room near stop 2 was awesome but not essential. DS buses are not as frequent either. I cannot say what they are like at other resorts, one to think about for a TL transfer.

Contemporary hotel has the monorail but that had a really slow security area getting o to the monorail, it was also really busy. Wasnt impressed at all, too crowded, kids running amok in the shops, contemporary felt like bedlam and not at all like a deluxe.

CBR is large and takes longer to walk point to point than CSR.

Riviera looks nice but no nicer than CSR. I would say it has rhe same level of theming but was busier. Pool area was smaller and felt walled off.

Skyliner is great in principal but in execution it took longer for us to get from Riviera stop to Epcot (opening time after topolinos) than a bus did from CSR! The skyliner just kept stopping, I assume for ECV.

We ubered to topolinos as we didnt want the hassle of Epcot transfer in the morning, glad we did!.

Overall CSR is a clean, feels new resort that has an excellent toledos restaurant, lounge, QS is ok and the pool area is great. We didnt manage the 3 bridges bar as we ran out of time. Rooms were large enough for 2A 2Teen but we did need to use a suitcase under the bed as an additional drawer set (but you can at least store suitcases under the bed).

House keeping has been a bit disappointing. We have been here a week and noticed today that they don’t clean the room properly. It’s a wipe around the floor and that’s it along with change of towels. There is dust on the lamps and window and mirrors are still dirty. A shame as universal hotel was cleaned every day.

A complaint will be going in if my room is dirty at all. A room should be deep cleaned between guests, in times of Covid or not.

Absolutely stunning resort, stayed there 5 times. Disney transportation is constant to all parks and Disney springs.
