American Milk

Morning everyone

Can someone tell what what the equivalent American milk is to our British ones if...

Red top is UK skimmed
Green top is Uk semi-skimmed
Blue top "full fat"

Then what are they in USA

Thank you

I don’t think you can always go by colours over there as brands vary. Their milk is usually a %. I find 1% is most like skimmed and 2% like semi skimmed.

We drink semi skimmed but I usually go for the vitamin D one. I think its whole milk.
These are from Walmart, I think these are our equivalents...

0% is fat free, so I take it that is skimmed.
1% is low fat - our orange cap?
2% is reduced fat - semi skimmed
Whole Milk - Full fat.

Vitamin D normally in a ted bottle is the equivalent of our full fat milk

We bought the 2% milk in both Publix and Walmart and they were fine.

As scouse_minx says, it changes depending on where you are buying it. Just read the labels.
