Can i request an actual kettle?

Evening everyone

I will be staying at All Star Sports soon and have seen that they have the coffee makers there now, which is great for a cup of coffee.

However...

Is it possible to request an actual kettle (i require one for medication purposes ) and if so how do i go about doing this?

Thank you

My mum asked at Coronado springs and they said no. They said there was a limited supply of microwaves but no kettles.

We got a small cheap one in Walmart.

Really? We stayed at Coronado Springs in January of this year and requested a Kettle and got one. There was no problem at all in getting one. Very strange. I would say ask and see what they say. Perhaps the policy has changed since we visited.

Why not invest in a travel kettle that is dual voltage to work in USA?

That was in April. The hotel was very busy so maybe they had none available when she asked at reception.

I've just bought a Russell Hobbs travel kettle to take after asking advice on here, it's dual voltage and was £12.99 in B&M comes with 2 cups and spoons too. Not sure we'll use them though we'll probably treat ourselves to a nice mug while we're there.

Sounds daft but they don't always know what a kettle is!
They actually call it a tea kettle!
I've noticed a lot of Americans aren't flexible in using terms so wouldn't realise!

Make sure you ask for an electric kettle. Many tea kettles here are stovetop ones. Mine is now because with US voltage and a gas stove it is actually quicker to boil.
