One of the biggest tips I can give you to reduce the cost would be to not pay for the dining plan. Put the money you would have spent on the dining plan on a $ card and I bet you anything that you will have money left over. It's very rare the dining plan is worth actually buying.
The next one would be to be flexible with your flights. Indirect flights can be 50% or less of the price of direct flights. Sometimes stopping somewhere like Dublin, so you complete immigration there, or another US city to clear immigration can mean you're out of Orlando airport earlier in the day that you would have been had you done direct flights and had to clear immigration at Orlando. It's pretty late to be looking to get cheap direct August flights to be honest. Another thing to maybe consider also is possible deals coming up on the US Disney site to stay onsite. I honestly don't have a clue if August would normally be covered but something to think about! |
