We've booked for August 2018. A few questions?
We ve booked 😀 Three weeks August 2018 to celebrate our 40th birthdays. We ve booked a Dibb villa (deposit paid) and it's the four of us and my lovely in laws. Flying with virgin and I really want the bubble upstairs. My daughter gets very overwhelmed (possible asd) with things and last time this was amazing it really was a little safe bubble for her. When are actual seats available to book? Can I request these seats due to medical reasons?
Car is also booked through virgin as a fly drive. When do you book park tickets? What do I do next? Super excited. Thank you |

I have travel insurance on my bank account so I'm automatically covered. My OH has to book hers separately becuase of a medical condition. Usually she will do it about 3/4 months before going so she has peice of mind knowing it's done and out the way.

If you are visiting other parks as well as Disney, Attraction Tickets Direct seems to have some good deals at the moment. Have to be honest I was just randomly 'Orlando Browsing' so not sure if they were available for 2018. They are a good site to check though. Enjoy your trip planning 🙂

Book travel insurance ASAP.
Check passports are valid, and you have estas Fly drive cars often only include very basic car insurance - I'd recommend getting fully inclusive car insurance. This will cover you for most things. You may think you won't need it, but we have had someone crash into our rental car in a car park (we weren't in it), and last year we got a cracked windscreen. Because we had decent insurance, we didn't pay a penny (not even an excess). |

You can book the bubble as soon as Virgin officially launch the flights which is normally 11 months before. Cost to book has gone up from £25 to £30 pp

I would recommend travel insurance asap too so you're covered in case anything happens between now and going. Also check your passports.
As someone else suggested, Attraction tickets direct are good for all types of tickets. They will also price match if you find a better price. Sing up for their emails and you'll see when 2018 tickets are released. Add diary notes now for important dates like completing esta's (2-3mths) booking fast passes, booking restaurants etc. We've started a family list of who wants to do what rides, restaurants etc, and will prioritise so we are ready for adr and for fp+ days. Don't forget to check the busy day guide for park recommendations. Enjoy all your planning |

Do you find your daughter is better off near the window or sandwiched between family members? Most kids don't like the aisle I imagine, and I'm guessing ASD would mean the aisle would be more troublesome. I'm curious as to whether the window might be problematic or not.
