BA... but found a direct flight.

Hi folks.
We were due to pay BA flight/car hire by monday, But got return flights with thomson From glasgow + car hire for what our final balance was, so went ahead booked. Other half tried to fone BA but had closed for the day. Should we expect any other charges other than lose the �355 deposit.
Any advice would be great.

Remember the free car hire with Thomson will require extra insurance which is normally a couple of hundred pounds.

As long as you cancel before the balance is due, it is just the deposit that you lose.

I'd ask if the deposit paid could be transfered to cover an avis hire car and then cancel the alamo one. Doubt that they would do this though.
