Shopping at the outlets?

Hi all.

I am taking my twin (5) year old girls for their first Disney world visit in February. Not sure they understand why I am so excited!

Has anyone stayed at a Disney hotel and got out to any of the outlet malls?

My husband and I walked from Disney springs to Buena vista outlet but bit of a step for the girls.

Any tips/best places to go?
Buses/taxis?
Am mainly looking for the Disney outlets as my spare empty suitcase will need filling :-)

Mswanda. Xx

I went in 2014 and we got on a resort bus to Disney Springs and then got public buses to both of the outlet malls. Both were simple enough to get to via the lynx buses or I-drive trolley!

We got Uber taxi's, always found them good and easy to use as well as being reasonable.

I agree. Either this or even 'proper' taxis, as the outlets aren't far so wouldn't cost a lot. I think the extra expense over taking buses is well worth the convenience.

We've always used Uber, we go to the outlet at the end of i-drive as it has a victoria's secret, and off the top of my head, it cost about $16 there and the same back again from AKL

They also have WIFI at the Starbucks so no data bill to order your Uber!

Get to Disney springs then yellow taxi to Vineland $15. White taxi back to Disney springs $15. You can order cabs from your resort they are metered may be best as you have 2 kiddies. Or try Uber.
