Was really disappointed with the alton towers one, especially after a long wait. I really hope you get a choice of headset or not as I loved kraken last year. Just seems such a waste of building a massive coaster and then do this to it. In guessing they thought they had maku now so needed a bit of variety

we found the VR units used on Galactica (formally Air) at Alton Towers cumbersome and uncomfortable and no two head sets appeared the same, If you wear glasses then they need to be removed, You can then adjust the focus on the head unit to suit your eyes be it seemed impossible to get a clear image, And that's if they work at all.
Putting on and setting up the VR headset along with sanitizing each one after use greatly affects the load time of the ride so longer queue times can be expected
