My sister has got the kids each a Dot for Christmas and not having to yell at them upstairs is the one thing I’m most looking forward to!

Ours come on at sunset ... how she knows that I dont know!

We got each of our kids one last Christmas, in the hopes of not having to scream upstairs for them to do something / come for dinner etc... It lasted about 3 days, before the kids blocked us from dropping in on them!

We don't use it as much as we probably should, but we are using it more and more. We have a smart plug, so the Christmas lights are easy to switch on and off, instead of crawling under the tree now. It's great asking Alexa to play Christmas music though. Helps getting into the Christmas spirit
