The food was so good there. When we put the photos on the trip report I actually felt hungry for that meal again 😀

Walking Street and the river area was so pretty at night, lots of pretty lights. Georgia was very happy to see so many fairy lights 😂

Great trip report DisneyDaffodil, looking forward to reading more. The city and food look amazing.

It's really lovely to see you all relaxed and having a good time.

Thank you Minnie, it is an amazing city, we completely understand why our son enjoys living there.

We did relax and enjoy the holiday, we were nervous before we went but soon felt very comfortable there

Think I would be nervous also going there but you have got me thinking of maybe visiting one day.

I would definitely recommend it. If you do decide to ever go, I can recommend some hotels or restaurants 😀

I was nervous about going, but found Vietnam a very easy place to visit. English was no problem, food lovely, getting to and from hotels easy. And the people ever so friendly and helpful.

I completely agree, the people there were so helpful and friendly and so very happy. Did you use the Grab cabs? They were so efficient. The food is possibly the best we have eaten anywhere in the world, obviously very cheap, but also well cooked and beautifully presented

We didn't book Grab cabs, we walked everywhere. In Hanoi, it started raining as we got to the other side of Long Bien Bridge, so we flagged a cab down. It was only a few pounds to get us back to the centre about 5km away.

We used regular taxis a few times too, also very cheap. We did have an issue with one driver in Ho Chi Minh not understanding us, but he was very patient and we managed to work it out eventually 😀
