Tipping people this year

Are you guys who normally tip people this time of year still planning to do so (rubbish men, paper boys/girls, delivery people, window cleaners etc)?

Yes I will MH as a lot of them have worked through lockdowns and some have gone that extra mile helping the more vulnerable . 🤓

We are going to tip the postie this year as we have had the same one the whole time and he’s been very good.

Not the rubbish men as when we had problems with them blocking the road they were incredibly rude. We don’t have a window cleaner, milkman, paper boy/girl and seem to have a different postman each day.

I must admit that I haven't ever tipped the postman/lady, but we have different ones all the time so I won't start now. A nice thing to do if you have a regular nice postman/lady.

We always buy the bin men and the postie a tub of chocolates every year and give them a card to show our appreciation. I think it's more important this year than ever.

I usually tip my window cleaner and barber. Just the self employed generally.

I have my milk delivered, and have always left a christmas card with £5 in it for my milkman. I never see my milkman as he delivers around 5am but come rain or shine my doorstep bottle is always there.
