MCO>PHL Cancelled BA/AA

I've had an email from BA to day our MCO>PHL leg has been cancelled and they'll be in touch with options.

There are no other MAN>PHL showing that day on the BA website. There are lots, however, including the one we originally booked on showing live on AA.

Do you think BA have made a mistake or is it likely they updated AA flight info before AA themselves?

I've just called and they've moved us onto an alternative, MCO > LHR > MAN. No extra cost, thankfully, cause the price I paid a month ago for these flights has now doubled! Bonus is we have an extra 2 hours in Orlando 😁

I think that is an good alternative as AA have a reputation for changing/cancelling their flights more than once before you travel. You have a good deal there let's hope the OP has a similar result.

BA are doing something- seems to be linked to AA flights as we had ours to New Orleans in summer pulled and moved a day earlier- suits us as we were wanting an extra day’s holiday when we did the itinerary.

Thanks. I've looked at these flights as an option. I assume I will have to pay for seat selection if they're operated by BA?

Thanks. I can't decide whether to wait a little to see if they come back or to ask for the route via LHR. Seems strange if the flight is still operating why they can't just honor the booking.
