Easter 2021 - really expensive

Any reason why Easter 2021 is so expensive for car hire? Prices are more than double what we paid in 2019 and 2020.

Looking at other posts, car hire generally seems to be much more expensive than previous years.

Have you booked your flights yet? We find that if we book our flights and car in a package with BA then it works out to be quite a good deal.

What dates and vehicle are you looking at? Online prices are really high at the moment but offline prices can be significantly cheaper.
