Driving directions from MCO

Yes I've found that if I get to the roads that I know, and can stick to them I can find my way around fine, but as soon as I'm off the beaten track I'm lost!
When we we're driving I didn't know where we were, how we'd got there, so I thought best to just keep following the satnav.
