Anyone stocking up ready for the 31/10/19

I will genuinely be stocking up on some bits and pieces just in case.

Anyone else plan to do the same?

I have 20 tins of chopped tomatoes and 6 tins of mackerel in my cupboard. Do I need anything else?

I might stockpile some loo rolls but we've a cupboard full of tinned stuff that I buy and never use we could live off for a bit I'm sure, might be only chance I get to clear that bloody cupboard lol, no doubt there's a load of bits and bobs in our freezer too, 2 fish fingers, a waffle, a crispy pancake and an old apple crumble sounds like a good tea for Halloween 🎃😂😂

With me currently working / living in Luanda, Angola, I doubt it could possibly be any worse than it is out here regarding food / luxuries.

Everything out here is imported / heavily taxed so is not readily available, and if it is it's usually at extortionate prices.

As a remainer I'm not too happy with how things are going in the UK at the moment, you know it's bad when you have American colleagues who rip you because of it considering the "Trump Affect" but, just like the run up to Brexit, I feel lots of Media / News outlets are stirring up fear and scaremongering again, I check most major news and paper websites daily and amount of conflicting reports/articles is just crazy, one second its doom and gloom and the next sunshine and rainbows regarding Brexit.

It's another one of those "We wont really know until it happens" scenarios, and well, we all know how much of a mess it's been since the UK people voted for Brexit, so wouldn't shock me if a few things went belly up, but can't see it been anything like the apocalyptic landscape some people are spinning.

Don’t usually stock up food for Halloween, just get some sweets in for the kids. It’s not a bank holiday the shops are open.

Petrol will be the other issue I think for a lot of people. I won't be able to walk to work as I live too far away so not sure what will happen if there is no fuel or it is rationed.

Re food, I'll eat cats if I need to (plenty of those going round on our road).
That's a good point about the medication I hadnt thought about, between now and then I will stagger my prescription requests a bit so I'm ordering just before end of October 👍

I actually have a decommissioned AK47 similar to the one in the picture (second from far right).
