Phone virgin credit card. You might be able to get the flight money returned to you

You will be able to get your money back from your credit card provider. Be aware that all credit card providers will be overwhelmed by calls today though.

Make a section 75 with Virgin credit card. They will send you out a claim form, where you detail amount and tick insolvent company with send receipts and any correspondence.
We did it a few months ago for a £3k purchase from a company that went bankrupt. Took just over a month to get the refund although I guess the dept will maybe busy so will take a bit longer.

Read this guide on section 75

You basically need to claim via your credit card. They may say you need to go back to the company (TC) basically fobbing you off, but you insist you want to claim. As below:

Sometimes it will tell you it will try to reclaim the cash from the company in administration. You can simply answer: "Great news, I wish you the best of luck. However you are completely liable for my goods yourself, and I would like the full amount I'm entitled to please, regardless of that claim."

I had also paid on my Virgin Credit Card. I have just got off the phone with them. They have taken my details and are going to send out the claim paperwork which should take 7 to 10 days (due to the large volume of requests). I then need to fill it in and send it straight back and they will apply the charge back to my account. Unfortunately they couldn't tell me how long it will take just that it should all be done.

You will get your money back. They legally have to under section 75 as it's credit card (and as long as you paid over £100) on your credit card.

If under £100 you can still push for a charge back.
