Mobile Disney Cruiseline Pricing 2020

Did our first cruise on the Fantasy last month for 7 nights and paid about 6k for family ocean view room with verandah.

Looking at next August for the same room is like 9k. Anybody know why such a price increase? Should have put a placeholder on board but didn't really look into at the time...

That’s a big jump. We paid roughly the same this year and for next both in category 5E.

What sailing were you on this year? We were on the Fantasy 24/8

This years cruise we booked using a placeholder on release last year and next years we booked onboard this year.

As they release cruises 16months in advance you need to book ASAP. If it's a popular cruise the price goes up quite substantially. We are doing a western carribean one next August and not paying that much for a verandah but have been booked for a while now. The price for the cabin next to us has gone up nearly 2k since we booked and there are hardly any cabins left on the whole ship already and that's 11months out.

When you originally booked the £ was around $1.50, it's now $1.20, that makes a fair difference.

Yeh cheers all I should have booked a placeholder and thought you had to have specific dates but I was wrong so messed up there! I just couldn't believe the price increase but it makes sense I suppose with the exchange rate. Might have to look at 2021 maybe.

We were on the same sailing as you bellasmommy on 24th and was glad that we just made castaway before the storm hit and then got trapped out there in FL for 3 extra days.

The prices have gone a bit crazy. We went in Dec 2015. At the start of Dec 2015 2 interior cabins for 4 came in at £1200 (for both, not each), over Xmas (which is the one we took) was a reasonable £2400 for 2 interior cabins. Pricing up the same for next year (4 nights) is around £3000, rising to £7000 for the Xmas equivalent one.

That's some inflation!

We're on the DVC Cruise to Bermuda in 2 weeks time, probably our last Disney cruise due to cronic inflation. Hoping the extra capacity of the new ships pegs the prices back to RCI levels. We are taking 7 day trip on the Harmony of the Seas, RCI, next year.

Have you looked at different week so as that can make a difference.
Hope you can find something - like others have said, booking early is definitely the key, but hindsight is a great thing!

Yeh looked at a couple of different options but probably priced out for next year the be honest. It was only meant to be a once in a lifetime trip anyway...

The cruise we should have joined today cost £2600 for 2 adults in a navigators balcony. It was a Halloween on the High Seas cruise to the Eastern Caribbean.
The equivalent cruise next year, like for like costs £3953, a 50% increase, how can Disney justify that.
