The Lego Story - Brick by Brick

Sorry this post is late.

Did anyone see this programme on Channel 5 on Monday night?

It told how it all began in the workshop of Ole Kirk Christiansen, a carpenter from Billund, Denmark, began making wooden toys in 1932. In 1934, his company came to be called "Lego", derived from the Danish phrase leg godt, which means "play well". In 1947, Lego expanded to begin producing plastic toys.

It was a fascinating programme and I'm sorry I didn't promote it earlier so more Lego Dibbers could see it.

However, it is repeated at 00:20 a.m. again on Channel 5 (tonight) so you could set the recorder if you want to see it.
