I did most of my shopping at Aldi, Lidl, Tesco and Asda over the past few weeks but popped an online order with Asda in... only 18 items and nothing really essential... I have 7 substitutions... and 4 of them are things with chilli (we are not chilli fans), the others are acceptable if not ideal... to be honest I’m not keen on Asda online so am not sure why I put the order in...

I'm off to Aldi for opening tomorrow morning. I've don't it on xmas eve for the last 5 years and it always works well for me. Fingers crossed that it is still the same this year. Anything I can't get we'll do without.

I just did ours in haste in Richmond on the way home from Nativity the musical!
I am so disorganised this year. I usually have lists and I’m super organised but this year it’s utter chaos 😱
We still need a few things but I pretty much threw Christmas in a trolley in the space of 5 minutes flat 🤣 I went to Tesco and OH went to Whole Foods. He’s a food snob, I am not!
I’m not prepared to spend £2.70 on a ropey looking cauliflower there when they’re 29p in Tesco. I know there’s no doubt an awful reason for the cheapness but I’ve no time to worry about that at this late stage!
OH has wrapped up 3 presents and that’s as far as we’ve got.
I’m icing 2 cakes and I’m pretty tipsy 😬
I’m never agreeing to cakes at Christmas again!
