They can normally be checked from when they are available to be booked, as when the airline makes them available (around 11 months out) they also publish the availabilty and seat maps.

But the seat buckets (many per class of travel) can only show a max of 9, which means at least 9 seats, but it will be a lot higher than 9 to start with.

So a long way out it lots of seats tend to be available and wide open will be the response. It only becomes useful nearer the dates, before then it sort of wastes the time of the kind contributors like Stanleycamel, aldojani , thatdaveguy and others over the years (I still occasionally reply, but these current guys and girls are so fast I'm usually too late ). They never complain, but its better at less then 6 months or even 3 months, depending on your needs (seat map or wanting to upgrade). I know it is hard to not check, because you are excited, but early on it doesn't have too much worth.

But, whenever you post, one of them, or even someone new or I, will help and suppy the information with a smile. It's what the thread is about.

Thank you for the explanation fredflinstone and the kind words - sometimes it can take up to 10 minutes per request to check out and reply to the Dibb member asking about their flight so the more the merrier for the people responding to queries.

BA 211

First - 5 seats unoccupied
CW - Upper Deck 12 seats unoccupied 1 blocked
CW - Lower Deck Wide Open
WTP - 17 seats unoccupied 1 blocked
WT - Wide open

BA 210

First - 5 seats unoccupied
CW - Upper Deck 5 seats unoccupied 1 blocked
CW - Lower Deck 25 seats unoccupied 1 blocked
WTP - 22 seats unoccupied 2 blocked
WT - Wide Open

As at todays date/time BA only selling 5 Club tickets and mainly dearer fares in Economy so would expect those cabins to be busier than the seat map shows for BA 210.

VS 74

As at todays date/time VS 74 selling 1 UC/NO PE tickets but good availability in EC - could turn out to be busy - too hard to judge what VS will do with blocked seats.

BA2039
CW: 16 seats unoccupied & 1 blocked
WTP: Less than 50% occupied or blocked
WT: Around 25% occupied or blocked

BA2036
CW: 13 seats unoccupied & 1 blocked
WTP: Around 50% occupied or blocked
WT: Around 25% occupied or blocked

Remember that the seats are likely to fill up once OLCI opens 24 hours before, some may fill out earlier for those which higher BAEC status.
