If you wanted a flying to Orlando yardstick we're flying 3rd - 18th and it was £3800 for two adults and two children. That was with Thomas Cook a couple of months ago.

We paid £1700 for 2 adults and 3 children. Direct there and 2 stops on the way home; but for that price we couldn’t not book!

Getting Excited

We’ve booked 3-18th April LHR- MIA £2800 for 2 adults 3 children fly drive with a 7 seater full size SUV. We booked about a week after release dates as we were undecided as to what to do but glad we bit the bullet. We are part of a party of 13 and the others have not seen a better/ sane price since. In fact they will probably need to go indirect to get a reasonable price. I do wonder whether the Miami direct prices may come down in the end summer sales with BA/ Virgin...

Not sure I could take 2 stops on the way home. That’s some journey. That said, that’s also some price...! Edited at 08:34 PM. |

We were so pleased! I wasn’t sure it would go through, but we have all of the confirmation numbers and the flight is showing as confirmed on Virgin’s Web site.
We fly Manchester to Orlando direct with Virgin out bound and then returning via Atlanta and Amsterdam on the return leg with Delta. The lay overs are short but manageable so it’s no big deal. it was such a bargain for Easter school holidays! I got it via Skyscanner I think the company was WeDoFlights, but the transaction on my bank statement was ETravel. We have DVC so it’s a bonus cheap trip for us. At that price we couldn’t refuse!
