The A350 sounds rubbish for PE, even Virgins own website says the PE seats will only be 18.5in wide - only an inch more than economy instead of the 21in on the 747 and others

I'm surprised at the change of plane as the flights we have been on in Nov 16, 17 and 18 have all been full (both legs).
Fair enough. It’s been a few years since we’ve been in winter and it was a frustration that there were no direct flights. Good to know that Virgin have realised there’s a demand.

We too have been changed to the A330 on our return to Manchester in January. We are in PE and VA have allocated our seats, we were previously upstairs on the 747 so not great after reading about the concrete seats!

How do you find out what plane you’re on?

If you go onto Manage My Booking you will see the flight details. For example it may say VS15 LGW to MCO Boeing 747 etc.

Must be heavy for take off and landing if it’s got concrete seats.

I’m wondering what’s going on the LHR-MIA route. The seat plans for next year show a A330-300 but they’re currently using a Dreamliner on the route...
