some good August Virgin Reward seats avalible

Hi dibbers

just booked 7th Aug out bound and 24th Aug Inbound on reward seats.

With taxes it was about £800 for 2ad 1teen and 1ch - £200 each.

im happy with that.

They did charge me £30 to add my return booking which i tried to argue but was so happy to get the reward seats i didnt fight much.

Never thought i'd get my dates all on reward seats.

worth a look if you have miles.

45000 miles return per person

Congratulations! Where are you flying from? Did you book at 11 months exactly?

I just booked our return Reward flights this morning. They charged the £30pp amendment fee to make them returns. There seems to be a decent selection from Manchester at the moment. We booked premium both ways for the 4 of us. Nearly wiped out my points mind you with it being in peak season. 😬

Just curious if there is a benefit to having a return rather than two singles?

Slightly less tax and can manage it under one booking.

Pity that site with reward availability isn't still working for VA, I've wasted lots of time looking for MAN-MCO flights whereas with that site I'd know quickly if anything was available.

VA reward seats didn't always show on the site though - my reward seats for May 20 didn't show, good job I checked VA website too as they were available or I might have missed them

I somewhat agree with you albeit if you didn't pay their fee the info was dated. Quite often they would show availability but the seats were already gone.

But, it was a great starter for ten I must say.
