car upgrade- mustang
heading to florida in a week or so. have reserved a SUV from Alamo however as a car nut I was wondering if I should upgrade to mustang. family of four going, 2 adults and 2 children (under 10). one standard family suitcase and a grip bag going , may be more returning( if wife has anything to do with it). is mustang suitable or am I living in fantasy land, any comments would be appreciated.

I did that on our first trip. I was really excited taking the family to the parking lot until we tried to get the bags in. I ended up going back for the SUV.
I've promised myself ever since that I'm going to do a road trip in a Mustang when the kids stop coming. They are still coming at 20 and 22 so it will be the SUV again next week. |

You may squeeze being operative word ,now your budget allows a Mustang why not look at some totally unsensible but fun cars that fit 4 and luggage that does not start with SUV.

We had a Mustang last time we went (2 adults and DD was aged 7). It was lovely but definitely a squeeze (and there wouldn't have been any room for a second child! ) as there isn't much boot space. 😄
