Goodness, what awful service! Glad you got home eventually and hope they give you your money back.
You asked 'do you know what it's like to wait 4 hours'. Ohhh yes. We had to wait 6 hours in MCO after our first trip to Orlando. They didn't tell us until we were airside that our plane was delayed 6 hours due to snow at Gatwick. And as you know, at MCO there is no lounge. After 10pm everything shut, and there wasn't even anywhere to sit most of the time. Horrendous! Glad you had a great trip though.

We're off to Barcelona in April so have enjoyed your report and all the tips about tickets etc. Thanks for all the info.
We're also flying with BA  I hope you've had success in getting a refund and your expenses paid.
