I'm looking forward to my stay at the yacht club this Easter even more now? Do you need to book? Do they do family dining or is purely an adult indulgence? ?

 WDW encourages family dining and we saw many family parties (we ate there twice  ) with every generation represented. They do a brilliant artist palette dessert for the children

You can make an ADR (Advanced Dining Reservation) from 180 days before the date you want.
The number you require is 001-407-939-3463 (WDW-DINE) - don't forget the time difference, they are five hours behind us.
