Thanks all. I definitely have the California Grill brunch on my list and DH and I are hoping to sneak out for a date night at the Yachtsman steakhouse (children can go into the sandcastle club at the BC). Will look at the wave and also the Disney Springs options.
For those of you that are seasoned visitors do you find you eat less in the parks and more at the resorts/DS the more you go? Rx |

Blaze Pizza (quick service at Disney Springs) new this year and a definite revisit on the cards for us next year.
An old favourite of ours that we do every year - Raglan Road at Disney Springs. Would also recommend Ohana, The Wave, Grand Floridian Cafe and The Turf Club. |

Unfortunately the Captain's Grille closed this year but I think it's replacement (Ale & Compass) is going to be a new hidden gem. It just opened yesterday, menu looks fab.
One I feel like gets overlooked is Ample Hills Creamery. Everyone seems to go to Beaches & Cream for ice cream when in the Boardwalk area, but I think AHC has much more interesting options. Of course, my favourite place on-property is Erin McKenna's. Not just because it's delicious, but because it's entirely GF. When you have a coeliac with you (DH in my case) it's such a relief to be able to walk into somewhere and be able to order ANYTHING without checking an allergens list. |

Love Ample Hills. We usually stay in the Boardwalk resorts area and I've spent many a happy afternoon with an ice cream from there, or I've gone there after a meal for a quick dessert
