Early starts, How many in a row. Jetlag power.

I was wondering if anyone uses the power of jetlag to get a few early mornings in at the start of the trip with mid afternoon Resort pool times and dinner at Springs.

Then when jetlag power has wore off do lazy pool mornings followed by afternoons in the parks and staying for night time shows.
I was wondering how many days on average people have the early rising jetlag power ?

We use the early wake ups to get to the parks for opening for about 4 days, then it catches up with us - since we tend to power through to mid afternoon before going off to eat etc...

Later in the holiday it is more a lazy lie in followed by afternoon to close time in the parks - get to see the parades and fireworks without being tired.

We managed 3 days of early starts (including an 8am ADR at Be OUr Guest on our first morning). On our last night we were still in MK at midnight

So yes we used to do this early morning then back doe lazy afternoons for 3-4 days.

But then one year I could only get a first day ADR for the desert party, so we ponderd if we would make it, and booked it.

So first day we were up early and in the park pushed through, got tired around 5 ish, carried on made to to desert party and got home for about 11 first night! Which is really 4am!

But ...

No jet lag for the rest of the holiday, did same last year and it worked again, last year we even went to Epcot fireworks on arrival day !

Kid are 8 and 12 now

We always push and live it Large when we go, theme park days from open to close !

The advantage of travelling with teenagers who are used to early starts (6.30am on schooldays) and have the stamina to go on into the night. We were riding Space Mountain at midnight and they wanted more - luckily the park was closing!

First 4-5 days all early starts. Of those first 2 days are right through till like 7pm, 3-5 rght through till late.

Then we start to put in rest time, water parks, shopping etc.

Last trip the kids couldnt keep up with us oldies, they needed half days etc (the kids are all mid twenties apart from a 12 year old!)

I was just coming on to ask the same question. I have early starts planned for the first 7 days... do you think that will be too much? We have a few character breakfasts booked and want to sign up for jedi training 1 morning and then 2 early starts in universal :/
