Chosimg a restaurant for breakfast before rope drop...
So I wanted to do BOG. Dream of mine to meet the beast but I know he is only for dinner reservations. I also know in August dinner reservations are not being taken. So. Breakfast it is. Magic kingdom open at 9 in the morning but could we go in early if we are staying on resort for a breakfast before the park is open to public? It wouldn't be EMH either.
Thanks

Anyone with a reservation can do an early breakfast (don’t have to be staying on site). You might get as early as 8am.

The only other MK restaurants that do PPO reservations are CRT and Crystal Palace.
CP gives you no PPO benefit now since MK gates actually open to all guests at 8am on a 9am open day. You're allowed up Main Street and to the Hub (i.e. past CP) where the individual lands are then roped off. So exiting CP just before 9am, you'll have an hour's worth of crowds already ahead of you. That leaves CRT, which is expensive and not one I'd want to rush through in order to get a PPO benefit from. If you get a BOG breakfast reservation (I'd heard these are also unavailable on some dates due to the rumoured status change) that's the one I would go for. Technically anything before 9am should let you past the Hub ropes into Fantasyland from 8am, but the earlier you can get the better, just in case you have a time strict CM checking you in.
