Thank goodness! I have already got an ADR for 17th April because it's been on my wish list for years and this time the kids will be teenagers and the whole thing will be stress free ('will they run around and knock something over?'is a thing of the past now!). I am soooo looking forward to it and really glad to hear your views. We will be celebrating our 29th anniversary and am hoping to be near the window for the fireworks.

wonderfull review as always, its brought back all the memories, the calafornia grill was our best meal during our october holiday.i had the lobster salad to start with, but i didnt get to enjoy it as much as i should have done,as ds 11 had ordered a sushi plate,he was warned it was all raw unlike some of the other sushi/sashmi dishes that had some cooked items, but he insisted of course when it came he couldnt eat it,it was so beautifully presented i didnt have the heart to send it back untouched,so i ate about 2/3rds of it and shared my lobster salad,so although delicious,i didnt get the full effect.you crab salad looked fab though mo

What a fantastic review - I had been thinking about where I wanted to eat for my birthday while we are there in August - I have just called and got a table! Very excited

Thanks for the report. I've been to the California Grill once before, about three years ago, but it's nice to hear it's still as good as ever. We'll be there on 21st August for our 10th Wedding Anniversary and I'm really looking forward to it. I rather doubt my DD Lucy (8) will get too much from it (she'll eat chips, pizza or mac'n'cheese!) but I hope they'll understand as it's a special evening for us - and Lucy would never forgive us if we left her out.

Andre I'm sure Lucy will enjoy herself even if she does go for mac'n'cheese. I saw a little girl enjoying some while on sitting on her Mum's lap at the bar and it looked soooo good! The Mum couldn't resist digging in too -I was pretty tempted myself!
Hope you enjoy your meal as much as we enjoyed ours Glad you got a table dreamofdisney - it's a great place for a celebration meal We are eating there on May 8th Princess Ploppy. Are you eating there twice? You lucky thing! |

My boys declared the pizza at the CG to be their favourite of the trip. Although they are only 7 and 5 they both ate the lot.
It did look really yummy!
