They are great but have a higher concentration of peroxide that is for 'over the counter' use in the UK. I haven't had any issues how ever they can make your teeth very sensitive. You can buy them in wal mart etc

I used to use these but last time I tried they made me teeth super sensitive! and I never get sensitive teeth usually. They also left little white stains on my teeth :S

If you're in the states, most places sell them, Walmart, Target, Walgreens!
In the UK I get them from Amazon or Ebay.

We always buy the 'Professional' ones - sometimes there is a coupon inside the box, so we buy one box (usually find a good offer somewhere) and then if there's a coupon we put it towards a second purchase. We also remove the contents and just put them in a plastic sandwich bag to save on space

I used these a couple of years ago and they made my teeth and gums hurt and only made a couple of shades difference to the colour of my teeth. I visited my dentist and got the fitted trays with the Opalescence whitening gel you leave in overnight. Wow! In a week my teeth were quite a few shades lighter with no sensitivity whatsoever. I used the 15%, it was well worth the money as all I have to do is just top it up for a couple of nights every 6 months. I also read the newspaper article about the guy who had used the strips having those horrendous problems. Think the dentist is the safest route!

Definatly stay well away. They are not available in the uk for good reason.
I work in the dental industry and have done lots of reasearch into teeth whitening. Please go to your dentist. |

I also agree do not buy over the counter ones , I have spent years trying to get my teeth whiter including using the crest white strips .
The sensitivity does go , but my teeth are white now but the enamel is damaged and I've just had to have build ups put on my teeth after literally wearing my gums away trying different things. Always use a dentist and take their advice . |

Hi
I have just completed a 14 day whitewash strip package which was purchased from my Dentist.Today I was back at the dentist for different treatment. We started talking about my up and coming trip to Florida. My dentist told me to try the Crest strips as they are cheaper than the ones she sells. She didn't seem to concerned about me trying them out and I have no reason to doubt her professional judgement. Just thought I'd share this information with all who are thinking of giving Crest strips ago. |
