Christmas shopping

Hi folks, we are heading out for a week mid October, does anyone know if the shops will have their Christmas stuff out, thinking of the larger dept stores like Macy's and Bloomingdales or will it be too early?

The last time we went in October Walmart were selling christmas stuff I'm sure the big stores had some stuff as well.

That's great thank you, we haven't been at this time of year before and I'm hoping to pick up a few gifts when we are there.

When we were in New York on Labour Day Macy's were putting out there Christmas stuff When we have gone out October half term have always managed to get cards decorations gift wrap etc

We are here just now and Macy's have up some Christmas trees and decorations.

Found Pottery Barn yesterday, for the first time, and they have loads of Christmas decorations.

Yes we always do some Christmas shopping when we are there on our October trips. Love buying different things to bring home.
