Is the Jurassic park ride @ universal shut ?!

So I've just been looking online at 2 people who rode the Jurassic park ride 63 times in a day and during this video I noticed a comment saying that the Jurassic park ride was due to close.
I can't find anything that says it's officially gone but everything I read says it's due to close September the 18th 2018.
Please somebody tell me this is not true I'm a massive Jurassic park and and I've bought t-shirts just for the day and my wife has bought me a baseball cap I've waited 26 years to go on this ride I've avoided all YouTube clips and any details on it if it's true I'm going to be devastated...

I read something similar before we went last October. But, it was open when we went a month after it said it would be shut?

I very much hope it stays open as its one of the few I can actually ride at universal. It is a great ride!

I know the Universal Hollywood one closed last year to be turned into Jurassic World, I didn’t think the Orlando one had

As far as I know it’s been closed for it’s annual refurbishment recently but will reopen soon, if not already

It closed properly in Universal Hollywood in September 2018.

Oh thank God... I don't know how I would have felt going there to find it closed... Honestly I've been desperate to ride this I'm a massive Jurassic park fan

I am so pleased to hear this, my son is waiting to take his fiancé on this ride.
That is one ride he did on our first ever trip to Orlando and it has been his favourite ever since.
