You must be so excited to show your niece around where you love.

So exciting! Xx
It would all be in your ‘trunk’ 😉

Love reading your trippies Helen! That house on AMI looks amazing and just the sort of place we would stay in! Am hoping for a AMI holiday in a few years (was supposed to be next year but my mum & dad are coming and they wanted to do Disney & stay there so have to be 2022 now I think!)

Will look forward to the daily updates, really interested in the Lake Minneola Tiki bar! Not long to go!

Hi 👋😃

I am at that stage where just about everything clothes wise is set aside, I have checked all the ‘stuff’ and am just picking up some bits n pieces. For example I need to buy US travel plugs. We used to have 6 and have lost some every year - I’m down to 1 now!

I am getting very excited now. My neice Caitlin is coming over with her mum (my sis in law) tonight for dinner to go over the plans and see if there’s any concerns / changes we need to think about. And I need to get Julie to sign the consent form for us taking Caitlin. Although she turns 18 while we are there I just don’t want any issues so it’s belt n braces with me as usual.

The only thing that’s changed since the last update is I’ve booked a second room at the Rosen Pointe for our first night. I used my tesco vouchers so only paid £9 cash so happy with that. It will be worth it for the girls to have their own room and bathroom instead of all squished in! A better start I think.

I saw the thread yesterday about the Thomas cook plane changing and am really hoping that doesn’t happen to us. I like binge watching the films I never normally get the time to see so want the IFE.

So yes - it’s all go!

Looking forward to reading your trip report as you’ve given me lots of good tips! We fly on 27th and are also getting very excited and plan to start to organise packing this weekend. Managed to get FOP at 60 days using the campsite booking which is great. Definitely going to try Teak and visit Celebration this time. We are planning for next year maybe a road trip taking in AMI so going to see if I can find any accommodation online just probably 2 of us though. Thanks for all your updates.

YAY! Was justing thinking you would be off soon and managed to track down your pre-trippie. Love reading your reports as I pick up great tips. My DH is also on the railway - freight loco driver and I have DD just turned 16 - currently in middle of GCSEs but is thinking about her prom and countless other summer events she has planned more than revising! DS is 14 and has headphones surgically attached between him and xbox.

I too am praying that the red tide stays away - we travel out on 11th July but going to Orlando first then heading down to the Gulf on 31st July taking in Clearwater, Cape Coral and then down to the Keys.

What about BB Kings at point orlando for Caitlin's birthday. I understand you have to pay a cover charge but there is live music and people do get up and have a dance. I've not been myself just read a couple of reviews but I was thinking of going there myself.
