Thank you so am I ... I don't even want to think about if we hadn't got it back. I think luckily as we were right at the back of the plane no one would have seen it as they walked past x

On the road by 4pm isn’t bad at all.

Nothing beats the feeling of checking into the hotel and knowing that you are actually there.
I wasn't on top form so I'm not surprised to be honest but at least it was still there.

It doesn't the relief to get in that room. I purposely put the cases on the bed otherwise I'd have laid down and gone to sleep xx

I would have been so worried about the bag but thankfully it was sorted out quite quickly for you. I bet it felt like forever though. On our last trip DD managed to leave her phone in the pocket in the back of the seat in front on our first flight to Dublin. Thankfully DH went back to the gate and the cleaners there had found it and gave it back to him.

Sounds like a good travel day. A few hiccups but hey who doesn't have them?

I felt sick almost as soon as I realised! It did but the positive was our cases were there waiting for us I'm trying to think more positively with things as I'm so pessimistic! Oh no, thankfully she got it back, that's always my worry that the kids leave their tablets or games consoles on the plane! Thanks for reading xx

Very true, it wouldn't be a holiday if we didn't ... unfortunately this wasn't the last time I forgot something on this holiday old age is definitely creeping up on me x

Oh my goodness, what a panic you must have been in when you realised you didn't have your handbag with all of the important documents in it. I hate when that feeling of dread hits your stomach, just awful, especially after you had just been sick too.

Glad it all worked out in the end. It's good that you managed to pop out for some food before bedtime, even if it was just McDonalds. Looking forward to reading the rest.

I did but thankfully it was all sorted fairly quickly ... but that was the longest 10 minutes of my life

That's all the kids talked about from stepping off the plane we were trying to get them to stay awake so we didn't want to go straight out, we wanted to unpack a little first much to their disgust but they enjoyed it and that's all that matters X

Sometimes everything goes wrong, doesn’t it?!

At least you managed to arrive safe and sound.

That does seem a lot for a McDonalds... I’ll have to remember not to order a pizza there, though it does look good!

Thanks for sharing

It wouldn't be us if it didn't 😂

Caitlin said it was really nice and I suppose the price isn't too bad for a pizza either just shocked us when we expected it being around $30 🍕💵 xx
