Impact of GE on other Disney Parks

We intentionally pulled our trip forward to October this year from 2020 to avoid GE - mainly as we didn't want to deal with additional crowds... we go 12th-26th October.

Any view/experiences (sandora?) on impact for other parks including Universal etc- actually contemplating not going to Disney at all now and focussing on the other parks - but i can't see this going down well with the kids- however can't see huge crowds for every disney park/ ride going down well either!

We are off site and make the absolute most of our holiday outside of the parks but it is the primary reason for visiting orlando!

We are there in November so I'm hoping everyone is jammed in to GE and I can have MK to myself!

That would be ideal wouldn't it.
We go August 31st so are there right near the start. Only intend going to HS on one day but I'd still like a decent day there for Aerosmith, ToT, Slinky Dog etc, not going to attempt to get near GE
Like 90% of other people going in Sept/Oct, we chose then because of lower crowds

It's opening the day after we leave, gutted BUT ! I'm thinking if I'm a local wanting to go Disney I would wait till it opens.
Hopefully people who planned to go in that 2 weeks I'm their will now postpone there visit till it opens, leaving the parks quieter

We are there 17th - 28th. I was hoping to miss GE and am now very anxious about crowd levels everywhere

Both the opening of Pandora and Toy Story didn't affect any other park, infact it even decreased some apart from Magic Kingdom, saying that Star Wars could be very different!
From what I have seen though it seems people are booking one night in a hotel room around labour Day weekend, just for
Hollywood Studios and Galaxy's edge!

We changed our plans and moved our holiday forward to Aug 24th in the hope that we would miss the opening. Never in a million years thought they would open it this early and that it would mean we're now there for opening day! Got to laugh

Can only hope that everyone will be at HS and the other Disney parks will be quiet. Wishful thinking hey

I'm also following with interest as we go 14th to 28th September... I am hoping it won't affect the week days too much as people will still have same school hols to contend with etc. Will they alter park hours now they've announced this as September seems to have quite early closes for DS compared to summer months? x
