HRH one advantage over PB is its half the distance to the parks, other than that PB by a country mile. Its all about opinions.

We love PB. Prefer the club level at RPR but for rooms and feel of the resort PB wins every time!

Loved the Portofino when we stayed back in 2008, definitely need to go back.

We stayed for the second time in October at PBH Club level, not stayed at the others but just love it here. The rooms especially if you get one overlooking the Bay are lovely, food and drinks in the lounge are well worth the extra money and 3 pools to choose from 😊😊.

I also prefer PB over HR and RP.
I had a few bad experiences in our stays at the others, but always had the best stats/customer service at PB I agree about the club lounge offerings being more substantial, also love the fact you get Prosecco if you ask nicely 👍🏼. |

We also love Portofino, definitely our favourite Universal hotel. Good size rooms and facilities and a nice walk over HRH for the Kitchen, our fav restaurant

Great to hear all the positive remarks about this hotel. We have 7 night club room booked for August and it was the cheapest of the three so was a little worried it wasn't as good as the other two.

We do too. Have only done rpr before (club) so interesting to compare club level at Portifino. Not long now.

We stayed at Portofino in August last year and it was cheaper than Hard Rock and RPR. Having stayed at RPR and Hard Rock a few times over the years, they were always cheaper.
If you do a booking for any other time, Portofino is the most expensive. It seems a quirk of August (perhaps it isn't as full at that time for some reason) It is the best of the 3 in my opinion - even my teenage children said they liked it best and they don't normally take much interest in such things. |
