Is hagrid going to kill island of adventure
I'm hearing some absolute horror stories about how busy universal is with the new Harry potter ride.
Apparently ollivanders had a queu which was almost as long as the rides! We go in less than 2 months and really looking forward to universal studios. Got a horrible feeling this new ride is going to really crowd it out for the next few months. Has anybody been recently after a new ride opening? |

I think it is just because it is a new ride. It will die down. The same happened with TSL and SSD. It's still very popular yes, but the ques have died down alot since opening.

It's really not that bad. The rest of the park is pretty okay if you download the app and have a look. We go in less than two weeks and I'm not worried. It will be busy but it won't kill the park. The crowds are only absolutely unbearable for opening week.
Neil and I managed to go on FOP one week after it opened a couple of years back and only waited 50 minutes. |

Ollivanders had crazy queues back in 2010 when we first visited.
However, now you have the option of doing Ollivanders in Diagon Alley, which can accommodate a lot more people.

We went a week or so after The Diagonal alley and Kings Cross area opened in 2014. We stayed on site for 2 nights and made the most of the early entry and front of the line benefits. We managed to see and do everything we wanted and found Universal and the rest of Islsnds of Adventure was quieter so took advantage of that!
