That lovely feeling...
... When you pay off the outstanding balance and that means you are DEFINITELY GOING ON HOLIDAY!
Also when you use more avios points to book seats upstairs in the plane

I always feel a bit sick after actually parting with thousands of pounds. I always know we're going, but never feel thrilled or delighted to actually hand the money over 😂

I'd be more excited if BA weren't threatening strike action the week we are due to fly.

Well that's a little annoying.
But the articles I just read say they're being balloted until july 22nd, then IF they agree to strike it might start on August 5th and could run anytime until January next year. Hopefully they won't vote for strikes.

I don't with cheaper holidays. It's just the amount for a Disney one that gives me a slightly sick feeling, but I'm the same whenever I spend a large amount of money. However, I never worry about paying it off, so maybe that's the difference - you feel relief it's paid, whereas I don't as I never worried. I know a lot of people feel the same way as you though, but either way, we're all still excited to be going

Paid ours off Last Thursday. Very happy to have used DH's Virgin Mastercard to do it at no charge, so will get him another 5K miles as trying to bring him up to nearer the miles I already have!
Lovely feeling now its paid off & also that he is over 100K FFC miles
