Family friendly Vegas hotels

Looking at LV hotels in April next year and interested to know what folk consider to be the best hotel for families?

II read somewhere that Mandalay was very good? Hotel searches are returning good deals on NYNY & Paris also, with Circus Circus & Excalibur being the pick of the budget hotels.

Also, is 3 nights sufficient to experience LV and get a day trip out to the GC?

We stayed in the Four Seasons which occupies the top floors of the Mandalay Building and the Palazzo with our kids. Would stay at any again without hesitation.

Some great deals from the Palazzo still come in to our email even though it's been a few years, trying signing up for offers on their website.

Hi have a look at the signature suits at the MGM . These can be booked via MGM or with airbnb or home away which worked out much cheaper for us.

As for length of stay, you will have the day you arrive , a day to canyon then 1 full day and then away ? Would highly recommend seeing a show, we went to see 2 cirque de soleil shows , fantastic

Hi thanks for the MGM tip. The planned three nighter in LV will be the end of a 2 week road trip, starting out from SF, PCH, LA then finishing in LV.

Please please don’t stay at Circus Circus, it’s awful and the location is terrible.

My kids have stayed at the following:

Signature - gives access to amazing pool at MGM
Mandalay Bay - loved pool
Venetian - loved location for shops and the hotel itself, pool terrible for kids (their opinion)
Vdara - loved location and hotel, didn’t like pool

Additionally DH and I stayed at Tuscany Suites which is off strip and I can see how it would be great for families.

Make sure to give time in Monterey ,aquarium and if you can go out whale watching, one if the best things we have ever done.

Thanks for the advice. I remember being v impressed with the Venetian when I was last there. The kids are liking the look of NYNY while I am favouring the signature suite option currently. My wife meanwhile likes the look of Paris so there will need to be some debate 😎
