Which San Diego hotel?

We stayed at the Best Western Yacht Harbour. Not far from Shelter Island where most of the other recommended hotels are, and it was a lot cheaper.

Do all of them charge for parking ? Any idea ?

BW Island Palms charges $15 a day for parking. However directly across the street is a free public car park, so we never actually paid for parking!

We stayed at the Marriott Marquis in a bay view room with a balcony after Aims on here recommended it. It was amazing! Beautiful hotel with lovely tropical pool area. It’s location is also fantastic. Just a short still into the Gaslamp district, next to Seaport Village (and the Cheesecake Factory!). The ferry over to Coronado Island is just a two minute walk away and it is also just a short walk from Petco Park and the Midway in the other direction. We are looking to go back next year and can’t wait to stay here again.
