Those "flea pit" hotels HAD to stay open because many families actually live in them.

So long as "when can I book Fast Passes?" isn't on your "ask Mick" list.
Happy to talk about Flo's Filet at Longhorn though. Mick

I'm 74 now Steve and my appetite is not where it was on our first visit back in 1990. That's why I prefer a fillet but "Flo" teams them up with many interesting pairings. Last November it was a crab cake and previously stuffed with mushrooms.
Last November as an alternative to fries I actually tried fried sprouts as one of my "five a day" Wouldn't rush to repeat the experience to be honest. Been a supporter of Longhorn on here for years since we first discovered it in Longboat Key back in 2003. Have to be honest though and say that Texas is giving them a run for their money now. The queues at Texas at Rolling Oaks are often longer than Longhorn over the road. OP - apologies for taking this into the "Restaurants" sub-forum. I tend to digress a little now and again. Mick

The only slight downside with most of the restaurants that we go to is that the alternative to carbs is broccoli which is not my favourite veg.
So I often look for alternatives such as asparagus served with grated parmesan. The potato gratin at Bonefish Grill is very good though. Mick
