Our eldest will be 19 (not far short of 20) when we plan to go August 2021. Her boyfriend will also be coming too. She is fully aware this will be the last big trip paid for by us though 😂

My eldest is 22, and she loves coming away with us. She pays her own airfare.

Mine are 27 and 25, we have took them since they were 3 & 1 every year The only difference is we now have boyfriend and girlfriend included and usually a friend Or two arrive at villa to stay.
We love that they still love it and get really excited going to parks.

My daughter started paying her airfare when she started working full time. I pay for everything else.

Our eldest decided not to join us any more after our 2017 trip when he was 21. Our younger DS is now 20 and would still love to join us every time if Uni didnt get in the way. DH and I are happy to go on our own but at some point would like to be taking grandchildren if and when we have any. Think it will be a while before we go back tho while current restrictions prevail.

They go through phases they come they have a couple of years off uni etc then comes on the scene a partner they are back then they have a little break then you again get
Promoted to chief bag minder and in charge of the stroller get do do all those rides they have rolled their eyes at for a few years and they now think its cool and why didnt you take us on this yes we did till you became that teenager from hell or the complete and utter adrenaline junkie like your father and oh they still expect you to organise it feed them for free and dont answer there phone in the parks unless its where are we meeting for lunch then you get they the Gdks look really tired might had had too much sun do you want grandma / Grampa to take you home to the pool after lunch of course
Then its around 5pm are we eating out or bbq or take out
Take out if its wed like if its do you want to share so Dad can go get it we ate at jct 58
So 5 mins from home but (N) or what ever DIL wants to go into where ever so maybe
Eat in an hour
I wont print the second half of this but just say well your Dad and I are going to so you can do your own thing
Response usually starts with a long silence then ok it might be plan b then
