What accent do you have?

I grew up in the Midlands but my parents are from Surrey and were determined that I wouldn't pick up the local accent. I've been left with a very bland nothing sort of accent.

I'm Suffolk born & breed but don't think I have much of an accent (maybe because close to Cambs border and grew up on a 'London over spill' council estate), I get told I sound like I'm from Essex and Americans often think its Australian.

My husband has a very deep rp voice (he has done voice over work in the past). We once got into the Candlelight Processional in Epcot early without a ticket, as the lady monitoring the queue was so entranced by his accent. He was also mistaken for a Virgin pilot in the Starbucks at Florida Mall ( the one in the hotel) and got a free coffee.

I just have a run of the mill London accent, not cockney vibes and very occasionally a bit well spoken. I'm of an Irish heritage so quite often use Irish phrasing, and will also go a bit West Country (Cornwall) every now and then as that's where my husbands family are from and we spend a lot of time down there!

South East accent with occasionally a bit of Pompey (picked up from my daughters). Changes to a Surrey accent (where I lived for 19 yrs) depending who I’m talking to.

Wirral accent, you would say faint scouse accent, we are the peninsular nestled between Liverpool North Wales and Cheshire.
