Seems like everyone is going away already

Keep seeing people online already booking holidays, I know the us still has it’s flight restrictions but if everything does eventually calm down i want to book to go Orlando for a week in a half in February. That’s book it in jan to go for Feb I know it might sound stupid but it’s my husbands 30th birthday.

we booked in June for June 2021. The way i see it is if a vaccine becomes available and travel restrictions are lifted, the price of Florida holidays will skyrocket.

I know very few people who have booked anything for next year. We have, 10 days in Crete with BA because we deemed it low risk. We wont be going to the USA till at least 2022, at the earliest. It's just nice to have something to look forward to!

The numbers are minuscule to the norm so I wouldn’t worry. Very risky though booking for feb 21 unless you can recoup any expenditure back. Best to wait it out which appears to be your strategy

Sounds a safer bet to me. USA 2021 really isn’t happening in any safe or unrestricted capacity IMO. We’ll probably look into something similar

I would just hang tight, you never know there could be some last minute deals to encourage holidaymakers back to the US when it starts opening. We’re considering a Vegas trip next year but will book last minute to keep an eye on things. Not booking Florida until (if?!) Disney restrictions lift.

That’s the way we looked at it, staying away from the US till some restrictions are lifted. Paid £3000 for 10 days in Crete, flights from Heathrow and all inclusive, never done it before but after this year just need a holiday that is stress free. We had a voucher with BA to use so that covered the deposit, and can change it should we need to, FOC. Insurance covers covid medical issues just not cancellations, but that’s fine as we would only lose the deposit. Safe bet for us. We cancelled Florida Aug 20, New York Nov 20 and Florida Feb 21 (we pulled the plug on this rather than BA cancelled) Its just not meant to be at the moment!

That’s sad about all your holiday cancellations but it is what it is. Such a shame. I just hope everything gets better but if a vaccine does become available I wouldn’t want to take it anyway I know that would be a option for many people though.

I’ve never been Disneyland Paris so wonder if that would be a better option, only problem is you can’t beat Florida and the merch is so much better in the states.
