OP. I meant to say just check when they install the new suite they bond (earth) everything. Have a little look before the bath panel and the vanity unit are sealed off and you can't check.

The Regs are so different to years ago. Basically hot and cold are linked. Quick job and only pence but must be done.

Will mention it Mr T thanks, weve used these guys before they are very good and very thorough we have a full schedule of works lol, although day one which is today already ain't going as planned... Today was take tiles back to brick and take ceiling down... Three bloody layers of ceramic tiles 😳😳😳

I need a tiler next Spring to do my bathroom

Today this guy did my Sons kitchen floor. Nice job

He can fit me in if I book this week - wait for it! Next May.

You may need supplementary bonding for rooms containing a bath or shower, except where all circuits in the room are RCD protected and the main bonding is up to the required standard or if they use plastic pipes in the bathroom Tom.. So if its a newish house they wont need it - we didnt in ours.

The builders we are using are the same, they are good and always busy and come highly recommended we got our bathroom quote and design ages ago this was earliest they could fit us in, kitchen is next year march time I think. I've seen quite a few people saying a lot of trades are well booked up with work, people rather than holidaying that I know have been doing home improvements and renovations xx
