Packing cube recommendations
Sorry, I know this topic will have been covered hundreds of times before! I haven't used packing cubes before, but I want to know all about them! Firstly, can I have some recommendations for good quality cubes, but secondly .. how does it work?
If you're on a multi-centre holiday do you have one cube per person per location? No doubt overthinking this! All thoughts appreciated!

I've just come back from a 5 hotel trip and packing cubes are ideal for these. I've used them before and just pack everyone's clothes in their own colour cube. This time I packed a few days in each cube so only had to take a few things out of the case at a time.
I bought mine from ebay as they were cheaper (about £7) I think the cheaper ones are all about the same quality wise. you will be suprised at how much you can actually get in them and leave so much room in the case.

I bought from amazon, i think they're all the same to be honest. Some have ripped by the zip but can still be used. I tend to pack groups of items - so all tops go in one, all shorts/jeans/skirts in one, all dressy items in one, all pool items in one, etc!

I bought these
amazon/gp/product/...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 They are really good, some have smaller pockets inside, the large ones has two zipped areas so you can put clean clothes in one side and dirty in the other. I honestly thought it was going to be another unneeded item that you lot convinced me to get but honestly they were great. Instead of kneeling on the floor in front of my case groveling for bits to put in I filled one cube at a time then put them in the case. I got 2 sets 1 pink, 1 blue. i packed 2 of the smaller cubes in each colour with clothes, paired them in outfits and split between each case. I had 1 cube each for shoes, 1 for other items. The cases looked to neat and tidy and everything was easy to find. |

just love packing cubes , they have made travel so much easier .
got them from ebay , very cheap approx. £5 a set just two of us and we pack his shirts in one , my tops in another , one for undies , another for shorts etc you get the idea. last trip we took a big holdall , very light weight , it stopped all the stuff getting mangled and when we unpack unless it desperately needs hanging we just put the cubes directly in the cupboards . really useful when travelling around as they just go back in the case . I also take a stuff bag for the dirty washing we normally stays in the boot on a road trip

Another big fan here, but one thing I’ve realised from using them a few times now is that the small ones aren’t great, I wished I’d gone for either all medium or large ones x

completely agree with this, One colour for each person, and matching tops, bottoms, in one cube together with underwear, 1 swimsuit etc then when you arrive at a hotel you get out your cube and you have a ready made outfit, no rummaging in different places looking for things loose in the case. They certainly took the stress out of living out of a suitcase. We only used the larger ones too.
